# Getting started with Nettify

> A quick introduction to building your website with Nettify

## How Nettify works

Nettify is an AI-powered website builder made for businesses. You tell Nettify AI what you want, and it builds your website for you. No coding, no technical setup.

    Go to [nettify.no](https://nettify.no) and log in with your account. Don't have one? Sign up for free.

  <Step title="Tell Nettify AI about your business">
    Write a short description of your business, what you do, and who your customers are. The more information you provide, the better the result.

    <Tip>
      **Example:** "We're a hair salon in Bergen offering cuts, coloring and styling for men and women. We're called Klipp & Kroll."

  <Step title="Choose a style">
    Nettify AI suggests a design based on your business. You can approve it or ask for adjustments.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Customize the content">
    Once the website is generated, you can change it in four ways — pick the one that suits you best:

    1. **Edit the website** — click the button above the chat box and pick from ready-made actions. Easiest if you're new.
    2. **Select element** — point at the exact part you want to change, and describe the change.
    3. **Talk to Nettify AI** — write freely in the chat what you want changed.
    4. **Manual editing** — fine-tune text, colors and spacing yourself in a separate tab.

    When you're happy, click **Publish**. Your website is now live! You can connect your own domain afterwards.

## Tips for best results

    The more specific you are, the better. Write "Change the heading to 'Welcome to Hansen Construction'" instead of just "change the text".
